Cocaine and meth seized after a traffic stop on Kimball Road

Lambton OPP officials allege: On July 15, 2020, members of the Lambton County Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), West Region Canine (K9), Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Frontline Members located and arrested a suspect on Kimball Road in St. Clair Township.

After several months of a drug trafficking investigation, Lambton OPP located the suspect operating a motor vehicle on Kimball Road and Bentpath Line in St. Clair Township.

West Region ERT members initiated a traffic stop and placed the driver under arrest.

Upon search of the vehicle, OPP members located over 60 grams of suspected cocaine and over 80 grams of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine, valued at over $22,000.

OPP located Canadian currency, cell phones, drug paraphernalia and bear spray.

A 34 year-old Corunna woman was arrested and charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine and Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine, pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice-Sarnia on August 26, 2020.
