Police: Vehicle stolen in Bothwell, disqualified driver, warrant

Traffic enforcement in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On July 17, 2020, while on general patrol, an officer observed a female operating a motor vehicle on King Street.

The female was known to be a disqualified driver and a traffic stop was initiated.

The 31-year-old Chatham woman was charged accordingly and the vehicle was impounded for 45 days.

Warrants executed in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On July 17, 2020 a traffic stop was made in regards to a disqualified driver.

In the vehicle was a 44-year-old Windsor man who had an outstanding warrant out of Leamington.

The male was arrested on the strength of the warrant and turned over to the OPP.

Stolen motor vehicle in Bothwell

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On July 17, 2020 unknown suspects stole a 2008 white Mazda MA5 while parked at an auto repair
business.

The vehicle was bearing Ontario marker #BZKR 616 when it was stolen.

If the vehicle is observed, contact police with the location and direction of travel.
