Mary Deweyn of Wallaceburg

Mary Viola Deweyn of Wallaceburg and formerly of Port Lambton passed away peacefully at the Babcock Community Care Centre in Wardsville on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at the age of 90.

Mary is the daughter of the late William and Viola (Bray) Labadie.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Peter Deweyn in 1989.

Loving mother of Brian and Robert Deweyn, Mary Jo Matthews, Lisa Legue and the late Donald and Richard Deweyn.

Dear grandmother of Crimsen, Joey, Michael, Eric, Tim and Babara.

She will be missed by her great grandchildren.

Sister of the late George Labadie, Garnet Labadie and Doris Carroll.

Mary had worked at Libbey St. Clair Glass and farmed on Pointe Line at 40 Hwy until they retired to their home on the Snye in Port Lambton.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 PM on Thursday, July 30.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, reservations are necessary and may be made by clicking on this link or by calling the funeral home.

Masks are required in the funeral home as is social distancing with people not in your bubble.

A private family funeral and burial in Riverview Cemetery will be held at a later date.
