Some traffic delays are expected, as a water main replacement project starts next week on Dufferin Avenue, just outside of Wallaceburg.
Infrastructure and Engineering Services officials with the Municipality of Chatham-Kent say the work is taking place on Dufferin Avenue, in Chatham Township, between St. Clair Parkway and Irwin Drive.
The project is set to begin on Monday, August 17, 2020 and last until Friday, October 9, 2020.
Work is set to take place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
Officials say the road will be reduced to one lane where work is being completed.
Municipal officials are asking motorists to obey the flag person and expect minor delays.
Two lanes of traffic will be available in the evenings, Municipal officials added.
