Diaper donation to the Mom’s Baby Cupboard in Wallaceburg

The Mom’s Baby Cupboard in Wallaceburg received a donation of diapers recently at their location at St. James Anglican Church.

Nortina Bell from The Nail Place and Esthetics, pictured on the left, and Stephanie John, from CJ’s Couponing and Donations, made the donation earlier this month.

Wallaceburg resident Eric Johnston accepted the donation on behalf of the group.

“This is there second of four donations to Mom’s Baby Cupboard, we are so pleased,” organizers told the Sydenham Current.

The program, which is held at the downtown Wallaceburg church, has not been running since the spring, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are hoping when it is safe, that we can open the cupboard again,” organizers say.

“We will let people know, when we know.”

Mom’s Baby Cupboard provides diapers, wipes, formula, baby food and gently used baby clothing to families in need.

The group is able to provide these items at no charge thanks to generous donations given by the community.
