Police are investigating after a crash in Highgate on Thursday, September 3, 2020.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege at approximately 4 p.m. a vehicle left the roadway on Orford Road in Highgate and struck a
tree.
Emergency crews responded and the driver was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
“The drivers condition deteriorated and (is) now considered to be life threatening,” police officials said in a media release.
The traffic unit is currently in charge of the investigation.
