Compound entered and roof shingles taken in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A business compound was entered on Keil Drive in Chatham and several bundles of roof shingles were taken.

A general search of the area was conducted and nothing located.

Storage unit entered, music equipment taken in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime overnight, a locked storage unit was entered on Grand Avenue in Chatham.

The suspects took several pieces of musical equipment valued at over $6,000.

Trespassing investigation leads to charges in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: While investigating a trespassing complaint a male was interviewed by police on Wellington Street in Chatham and provided a false name.

Further investigation found the male was under house arrest conditions in the Windsor area.

The male was arrested for failing to comply with a release order and
obstructing police.

He transported to Chatham-Kent Headquarters and held for a bail hearing.

Traffic stop result in impaired charges on Middle Line

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A female was observed operating a motor vehicle at a high rate of speed on Middle line.

She was stopped and administered roadside tests that she failed.

The driver was transported to Chatham-Kent headquarters and registered tests twice the legal limit.

The female was charged and was released with future court date.
