Infrastructure and Engineering Services officials with the Municipality say Queen Street, Gillard Street and Herbert Street, between Queen Street from Murray Street to Herbert Street, Gillard Street from Hope Street to Herbert Street and Herbert Street from King Street to Duke Street will be impacted.

The works is expected to begin on Wednesday, September 23 and be conducted until Friday, November 27, 2020.

Local traffic only will be allowed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day as the work is completed.

Municipal officials say emergency vehicles will have access through the work zone until the manhole replacement at Queen Street and Herbert Street.

“All access will be restricted at that time,” Municipal officials said in a media release, adding that this timing is still to be determined.
