With the weather changing to feel more like fall, and the leaves slowly changing to gold and red colours, the 8th bi-weekly Wallaceburg Farmers’ Market was another huge success.

The market, held Saturday, September 26, 2020 was record setting, as 840 people were in attendance, along with 13 vendor booths.

Vendors featured a variety of items, ranging from fresh seasonal produce, honey, jam, maple syrup, meats, baked goods, flowers and wood working items.

“I came to the market today to sell my products, and help the community using some of my wares,” Bill Young, owner of Young Creations, told the Sydenham Current.

“I am Young Creations, a custom woodworking business, making charcuterie boards, cutting boards, live edge tables, wine tables, folding tables, and other things.”

Young added: “Business has been very good today, I’m very impressed with the organization of it, and the people that have come through.”

The municipal parking lot, located on James Street, is the location for the bi-weekly market between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Only one Farmers’ Market is left for the 2020 season and it is scheduled for October 10, 2020.
