The Chatham-Kent Breastfeeding Coalition is holding their first ever Virtual Breastfeeding Challenge on Zoom.
The event will be held on Monday October 5 at 10:30 a.m., latch-on will
be at 10:45 a.m.
“Come celebrate National Breastfeeding Week with us,” organizers say.
“This year’s theme is ‘Support Breastfeeding for a Healthier Planet’. Breastfeeding contributes positively towards planetary health – it is sustainable, ecological and good for human health. This National Breastfeeding Week, we need to support breastfeeding for a healthier planet.”
CK Public Health officials are encouraging people to join, “as we overcome the isolation brought on by COVID-19 and support one another on the breastfeeding journey.
“There will be fun and prizes. This year, we are having our photo contest again and the winners will be announced at the virtual breastfeeding Challenge,” Public Health officials say.
To enter, follow the group on Instagram (CK Breastfeeding Coalition) and tag them in a photo of you and your child breastfeeding.
