Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, police received information that a male was dumpster diving behind a business on Riverview Drive.

Police located the male and police checks revealed that he was currently wanted by the Chatham-Kent Police Service for failing to comply with his release order.

The 35 year-old Chatham man was arrested and later released with a future court date.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening, while on general patrol, police located a man who was currently wanted for several domestic related offences.

The 51 year-old Chatham man was arrested and later released with a future court date.

Arrest leads to prohibited weapons charge

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, police located a male on Grand Avenue, in the city of Chatham, who was believed to be on house arrest.

As police were investigating, the suspect took off running.

A short foot pursuit ensued and the male was arrested.

Search incident to arrest police located pepper spray.

The 18-year-old Chatham man was charged with; failing to comply with his release order, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of a weapon contrary to his weapons prohibition order.

He was released pending a future court date.

Disturbance at LCBO leads to arrest

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, police responded to a disturbance at the LCBO on Wellington Street, in the city of Chatham.

Through investigation police learned that the male involved had threatened to harm several staff members.

The 25 year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with two counts of uttering threats.

He was released pending a future court date.
