Update #1 from the Chatham-Kent Police Service: The Chatham-Kent Police continue their efforts in locating 81-year-old Darlene Payne.
We are asking the residents of Thamesville to please check their properties and outbuildings for any evidence that may help officers locate Ms. Payne.
Darlene is Caucasian, 5’9”, 160 lbs with a thin build, blue eyes with short white/grey hair and has a visible scar on her left check.
She was last seen yesterday outside her home on London Road around 4pm wearing grey jogging pants with a white and peach shirt, black coat and scarf.
She was also carrying a purse and wearing sunglasses.
Police and family are concerned for her health and safety.
Anyone with information is asked to call police immediately at 519-352-1234 x9 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

“Darlene is Caucasian, approximately 5’9”, 160 lbs. with a thin build, blue eyes with short white/grey hair and has a visible scar on her left cheek,” police officials said in a press release issued at 11:48 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2020.
“She was last seen yesterday outside her home on London Road around 4 p.m. wearing grey jogging pants with a white and peach shirt. She may have been carrying a black coat and multi-coloured striped purse.”
Police officials added: “Police and family are concerned for her health and safety.”
