Dresden Library opening their doors twice a week

The Chatham-Kent Public Library is starting to offer limited service inside the Dresden Branch, with additional health and safety measures in place.

“Your visit may look a little different but, as always, staff are available to help,” library officials said in a media release.

Library official say the Dresden Branch has opened its doors and is currently offering open hours to allow patrons to pick up holds, browse collections and to book computers:

– Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dresden Branch is open

– Fridays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Dresden Branch is open

“Curbside Service continues so that residents can choose the way they want to access library services,” library officials say.

“For more information, please call or visit CKPL at www.ckpl.ca or on social media for updates.”

Library officials added: “CKPL’s priority is to ensure safe, accessible library spaces for our community with top quality customer service and collections, both in person and virtually. Come to your library branch for a visit in celebration of Ontario Public Library Week and see the possibilities.”

Ontario Public Library Week is celebrated every year in October during Canadian Library Month.
