PAWR celebrates their adoption partners

Pet and Wildlife Rescue Rescue would like to celebrate their adoption partners.

PAWR officials say by sharing space in their stores, they not only provide visibility to adoptable animals, but also free up cage space at the shelter so that more animals can be helped.

“This has been especially wonderful during these trying COVID times, as it gives these homeless pets more opportunities to get into their forever homes,” PAWR officials said in a media release.

Currently, PAWR has adoptable cats at Petsmart Chatham (823 St. Clair St.), Petsmart Tecumseh (7654 Tecumseh Rd. E. Unit 1D, Windsor), and Pet Valu Wallaceburg (30 McNaughton Ave., Wallaceburg).

Small pets such as rabbits and guinea pigs are often housed by Pet Valu Chatham (647 Grand Ave. W.), and two other Windsor Petsmarts (3164 Dougall Ave. and 4001 Legacy Park Dr., PAWR officials say.

“PetSmart’s National Adoption events are always a great success and help us find many homes each year for local pets in need,” PAWR officials say.

“It truly takes a village and we are so grateful to have these wonderful teams in ours.”
