The Moore Agricultural Society, who runs the Brigden Fair, has launched a brand new online fundraiser.
Malcolm Rogers, president of the Moore Agricultural Society, told the Sydenham Current they are running the ‘Harvest Gold’ 50/50 draw and it is all being done online.
Rogers said they are holding the fundraiser in order to maintain the buildings on the fairgrounds and property.
He said the funds raised will also allow the Moore Agricultural Society to continue supporting the numerous other community groups.
The jackpot is now over $9,000 and it wraps up at the beginning of December.
Rogers said the draw will take place on December 1, 2020.
Tickets are $5 each, 10 for $40, 25 for $75 or 50 for $100.
