Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Thursday October 29, 2020, unknown suspects gained entry into a storage unit on Richmond Street in Chatham.

It is unknown at this time exactly what was taken at this time.

Break and enter in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime overnight a residence under construction was entered, on Joseph Street in Chatham.

Reported stolen are pry bars, bolt cutters and head lamps.

Man charged with mischief

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, police responded to a mischief complaint on Taylor Avenue in Chatham.

Through investigation, police learned that a 22-year-old Chatham man was under the influence of illicit drugs and was causing a disturbance.

The man was medically cleared by hospital staff, then arrested and charged with mischief.

He was later released with a future court date to answer to the charge.

Stolen car in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night a resident on Cedar Hedge Line in Wallaceburg reported his Chevrolet Silverado stolen.

The vehicle was located and recovered earlier this morning.

The investigation continues.
