Man arrested on warrants

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On November 10, shortly after 11 a.m., as a result of a traffic stop on Fairview Line, the 30-year-old driver was charged with Driving Under Suspension.

Through investigation it was also learned he had a Fail to Comply Warrant out of London and was then transferred to London Police custody.

Male arrested for public intoxication

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Around 11 p.m., police received a call for an unwanted person at the Days Inn in Wallaceburg.

Police arrested a 65-year-old man who was intoxicated, unable to care for himself, in the parking lot.

He was transported to CKPS headquarters and later released.

Male arrested for bail violation

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Around midnight on Wednesday, officers were called to a Mary St. Chatham address for a family dispute.

Officers arrested a 27-year-old man on scene, who was intoxicated by alcohol, after learning that he was on bail conditions to not possess/consume alcohol.

Upon arrest the male resisted and attempted to run away.

The accused was quickly located and arrested for Breach of Undertaking, Resist Arrest and Escape Lawful Custody. He was transported to CKPS headquarters and released on an undertaking with a future court date of January 12, 2021.
