The Wallaceburg Branch of the Chatham-Kent Public Library will be offering a special curbside pickup on Thursday, November 26 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“While you are enjoying the Downtown Wallaceburg Holiday Market, stop by the library and see Santa Claus,” library officials said in a media release.
“Santa will be arriving at 5 p.m. to help hand out curbside packages and to say hello to everyone from a safe distance. Although the branch will be closed for browsing that evening, Santa and his library elves can still help choose a book or movie for anyone that would like to borrow materials with their library card.”
Library officials added: “Any child that borrows a bag of books will receive a simple holiday craft with their bag.”
Patrons can place requests for bags of books by calling the library at 519-627-5292 before November 26 and orders will be ready for curbside pickup that evening, library officials say.
