Chatham-Kent OPP officials allege: On December 4, 2020 at approximately 12:05 a.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision in the westbound lane of Highway 401, just west of Queens Line, Tilbury.
Officers arrived on scene and determined two cars and a tractor-trailer were involved in the collision.
One person was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Highway 401 westbound was closed for approximately six hours but has since reopened.
The collision is under investigation and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
