Lauretta Jones, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away peacefully at the CKHA-Sydenham Campus on Friday, December 11, 2020 at the age of 87.
Lauretta is the daughter of the late Herbert Elwood & Ella Mae (White) Johnson.
Beloved wife of the late Ralph Benjamin Jones (December 20, 2014).
Loving mother of Herb (Dannette), Randall, Ed, Don and Vicki (Russ Blackbird).
Dear grandmother of Jason, Adam, Scott, Tanya, Sammy-Jo, Tony, Ben, Charlie, John Paul and the late Paul and great grandmother of 14 great grandchildren.
Sister of Vivian (the late George Kicknosway Sr.) and the late Verna Alice ‘Peewee’ Johnson.
A celebration of Lauretta’s life will be held at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Tuesday, December 29 at 1 PM.
