Police: Rural B&E’s, warrant in Wallaceburg, breach in Blenheim

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime overnight on December 28 and December 29, 2020 unknown suspects entered a barn on a property on Maple Line, in the area of Jacob Road, in Dover Township.

On an adjacent property, a garage was also entered.

It is unknown at this time exactly what was stolen as inventory is still being completed.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime since December 25, 2020 unknown suspects entered a residence on Kent Bridge Road in Howard Township, causing about $2,000 damage inside the home.

The investigation is still on-going.

Man arrested for breach in Blenheim

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Shortly after 7:30 p.m. on December 29, 2020 police were called to a residence in Blenheim after receiving information that a man, who was bound by a probation order to not attend that location, was present at that residence.

The 28-year-old man was located and arrested for breach of probation and held for a bail hearing.

Warrant arrest in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On December 30, 2020, around 5 a.m., as a result of a traffic stop, a 45-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants for breach of probation and failing to attend court.

He was later released from custody with a future court date of January 29, 2021.
