Victoria Ann Shobway ‘Eshamaad’, a member of Walpole Island First Nations passed away at home surrounded by her family on January 16, 2021 at the age of 68.
Daughter of the late Lewis and Dena Shobway.
Remembered always by her daughters Yvette, Neva, Lynette and Shelley and her grandchildren Egezbischiged, Memengwans, Steven, Cleveland, Brooklynn, Jeffrey Jr., Eve, Nate, Jesse, Jarek and great grandchildren Koa and Kai.
Dear sister of Arnold Shobway and the late Albert, Lonnie and Mark.
Victoria was a giving and nurturing person who spent many years working at the Walpole Island Elementary School and as a social worker.
She will be remembered as a sister and auntie to many.
Community Visitation will be held at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 3-6pm.
A private family funeral will be held on Thursday.
