Update: Suspect wanted for attempt murder after a shooting in Chatham (Photo)

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The Chatham-Kent Police are currently investigating an attempt murder that occurred on Harvey Street in Chatham on Tuesday night, January 26, 2021 at around 6 p.m.

Two people sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical attention.

A dog was also shot and killed during the incident.

A suspect has been identified and grounds exist for his arrest.

Through investigation, police believe the suspect may have ties to other communities outside of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
