The second shipment of COVID-19 vaccine has arrived in Chatham-Kent.
“We can confirm that the second shipment of COVID-19 vaccine arrived late Friday morning,” Jeff Moco, a spokesperson with the Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit, said in an email at 3:39 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2021.
“Our vaccination team’s are being mobilized to complete the remaining first vaccinations for those residents in long-term care homes, high risk retirement homes and indigenous elder care homes beginning today to meet the February 10th provincial deadline. We hope to share a progress update early next week with further details.”
We’ll provide an update when more information becomes available.
A total of 404 doses of COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to date across Chatham-Kent.
