3,600 total doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered in Chatham-Kent

Public health officials have provided an update on COVID-19 vaccine administration in Chatham-Kent.

On Saturday and Sunday of this past weekend CK Public Health delivered over 2,000 doses at the Bradley Centre Vaccination site, CK Public Health officials said in an email to the media on Monday, March 1, 2021.

Since first opening last Tuesday, public health officials say they have delivered about 3,600 doses to staff and essential caregivers of long-term care and retirement homes, highest and very high priority health care workers and residents 80 years and above.

“This weekend went really well as we increased our efficiencies in delivering vaccinations to such a large number of people and I’m just so proud of everyone’s contributions in pulling all this off,” stated Dr. David Colby, Chatham-Kent Medical Officer of Health.
