Mrs. Helena (DeMol) Duchou, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Fairfield Park, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 101.
Helena was born in Belgium and was a daughter of the late Edmund and Louise (Liessens) DeMol.
Beloved wife of the late Jules Duchou (2015).
Loving mother and mother-in-law of Roger (Lydia) Duchou, Linda (Brian) Thornton, and Helga (Leo) Benoit.
Dear grandmother of Stacey (Greg), Carly (Derek), Jessica (Chris), Tiffany (Dave), Denise and John. Sadly missed by several great grandchildren. Predeceased by her grandson Kevin.
Kind sister of Elaine (the late Victor) Clement and Annie (the late Bruno) Meeze. Predeceased by her brother Frans (the late Julianne) DeMol.
She will be missed by her god daughter Greta Stradiot and several nieces and nephews.
Her arrangements are entrusted to the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home. Following her wishes, a private family service will be held. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Breast Cancer Research or the Parkinson’s Foundation may be left at the funeral home.
