450 water bottles donated to the St. Clair Catholic District School Board

The Chatham-Kent Public Health has donated 450 water bottles to the St. Clair Catholic District School Board, to distribute to students in schools across the Municipality.

“(Monday was) World Water Day and we (wanted) to take a minute to say a special ‘thank you’ to our partners at CK Public Health for this donation,” stated Deb Crawford, director of education, in a press release.

“We will add it to our complement of water bottles that we purchased earlier this year for our students.”

Due to COVID-19, water fountains in schools are closed.

Students use water bottle filling stations to stay hydrated and keep healthy.

The Board supplies water bottles to schools on an on-going basis, as needed.

“I also want to take this opportunity to say a big ‘thank you’ again to our public health partners in both Lambton and Chatham-Kent,” Crawford added.

“From the earliest days of the pandemic, Lambton Public Health and CK Public Health have provided tremendous support and guidance to our schools, our staff and our families. We are grateful for their expertise and their ongoing assistance as together we meet the challenges of COVID-19.”
