Police: Warrant arrests, assault, failing to comply with release order

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, police located a man wanted for several domestic related offences.

The 25-year-old Blenheim man was arrested and has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening, while on general patrol, police locate a man wanted for failing to attend court on Park Street in the city of Chatham.

The 38-year-old Chatham man was arrested and has been released from custody pending a future court date.

Man charged with several domestic offences

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 26 the accused in this matter, a 37-year-old Glencoe man, attended the victims residence despite being on court order conditions not to be in Chatham-Kent and not to communicate with the victim.

The accused demanded a ride back to Glencoe.

A verbal altercation took place and the accused assaulted the female victim.

On March 27, the accused attended the victims residence again and gained entry by climbing through an unlocked window.

Early this morning police located the accused walking in the area of St. Clair Road and Pioneer Line in Chatham.

The accused was arrested and has been charged with: six counts of failing to comply with his release order, unlawfully in a dwelling house, assault and criminal harassment.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
