Rosaire Alexander

It is with an immense sense of loss and deep sadness that we announce Rosaire Alexander earned his wings peacefully on Friday, April 23, 2021 the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg. The battle the last two weeks clinched those coveted wings.

He was born in Dover Township and was the son of the late Fred and Dorilla (Lozon) Alexander.

Rosaire is survived by his wife Annie, his daughters Cindi (Bill) Tiltman of Sarnia, Linda (Bill) Mikel and Tina Granger of Wallaceburg.

Sadly missed by his grandchildren Joel (Emily), Emma (Kevin), Melanie (Phil), Andrew (Andrea), Ryan (Brittany), Elyse (Bryan), and Nic and his great grandchildren Cashe, Julie, Alexis, Lincoln and one on the way in the fall.

Harlow held a special spot in his heart.

He is also survived by his sister Viola Little and his brother Lorne (Nancy) Alexander.

Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Gerald, Henry, Amedee, Victor, Armand, Clements, Clarence, Loretta, Martha, Rita, Patricia and Victoria.

He will be missed by his K9 friends Dixie and rescue puppy Olivia.

Rosaire was a long-time employee of Dominion Glass and always had a story to tell. A proud and strong man, he would never ask for help but gladly accepted the offer when presented. He had a love for cars and spend many years a VW owner and would talk to anyone showing interest. Family was important and he let up when seeing grandkids and great grandkids. He never turned down sweets!

The family would like to thank the compassionate staff at both C.K.H.A. campuses for all their kindness and guidance. Even during these trying times, they went beyond to ensure everyone was taken care of. Special mention to Molly who looked after Mom and Christie, Amanda and especially Kim at Wallaceburg Campus who went beyond to look after all of us at the end. Also, thanks to Dr. Tran for all his wisdom and Dr. McElligott for his care over the years.

The late Rosaire Alexander rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin Street, in Wallaceburg. A private family service will be held with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.

Please feel free to leave your memories and stories about Rosaire for the family on his tribute page.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to SDH Foundation or CK Animal Rescue.

Keep smiling, til we meet again.
