Frost advisory issued across Chatham-Kent

Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory across Chatham-Kent.

“Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas,” forecasters say, as frost is expected tonight, April 30, into early Saturday morning.

“Frost is expected tonight as temperatures fall to near zero degrees. The frost will come to an end as temperatures warm Saturday morning.”

Environment Canada officials added: “Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas. Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.”
