Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon an officer on general patrol in Chatham located a male in the area Adelaide Street who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend.
The 51-year old man was arrested on the strength of the warrant and later released with a future court date.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon an officer on general patrol in Chatham located a male in the area of Park Street who was known to be wanted on several endorsed warrants for theft and failing to comply with his probation.
The 38-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrants, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and held for bail.
Break and enter
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night police responded to a break and enter at a residence on Queen Street in Chatham.
Sometime over the last three days an unknown person broke into the residence through the main door and removed jewelry, food and currency valuing approximately $1,275.
The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.
