Firefighters from Station #12 – Harwich North and Station #18 – Blenheim responded to a structure fire just after 6 a.m. on Tuesday morning, May 4, 2021 at 10785 Pinehurst Line.
“Upon arrival, crews were able to gain access to the building and quickly extinguish the fire,” fire officials said in a media release.
“CKFES inspectors attended the scene and conducted an investigation to determine the cause accidental. Inspectors reported that the fire began in the battery compartment of the truck inside the building.”
Fire officials say there were no injuries.
Damages are estimated at a value of $10,000 for the truck and $150,000 to the structure.
