Family dispute leads to assault charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Around 6 a.m. yesterday morning, police responded to a family dispute at a residence in Wallaceburg.

Through investigation, police learned that during an argument, the man became aggressive and assaulted his mother.

The 40-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with assault.

He was released pending a future court date of June 22nd, 2021.

Executed warrants

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening, police located two women who were wanted for failing to attend court.

The 30-year-old and 37-year-old Chatham women were arrested and released pending future court dates.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, police located a woman in Chatham who was wanted for failing to attend court.

The 39-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and later released pending a future court date of June 21st, 2021.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening, police located a man in Wallaceburg who was wanted for failing to attend court.

The 61-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and released with a future court date of July 7th, 2021.
