Update: Crews from Station #12 – Harwich North and Station #7 – Chatham South responded to a structure fire at 9547 Fairview Line just before 3 a.m. this morning. Truck 1-13 also responded to assist. No injuries. Damages estimated at $700,000. Cause deemed accidental, after an investigation was completed by CKFES prevention team. The fire is believed to have started from improper disposal of smoking material.Â

No injuries were reported, fire officials say.
