The Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit have added more COVID-19 vaccine appointments for this week at the John D. Bradley Centre mass vaccination clinic.
“Some extra appointments have been added for dates throughout this week with a large number now available for Saturday May 29 using Pfizer at the Bradley Centre,” CK Public Health officials posted on social media.
“For those waiting for second dose dates past June 19th we hope to add those soon.”

On Friday, the Chatham-Kent Ontario Health Team announced two more COVID-19 vaccine community clinics, open to everyone 18 years of age and older, on May 27 in Tilbury and June 3 in Wallaceburg.
The Wallaceburg clinic is being hosted by the Chatham-Kent Community Health Centres (Wallaceburg site) located at 808 Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg.
The clinic will be administering Moderna vaccines.

The Tilbury clinic is being hosted at the Tilbury District Family Health Team, located at 22 Mill Street in Tilbury.
The clinic will be administering Moderna vaccines as well.

“We’re pleased that so many people in Chatham-Kent are choosing to be vaccinated,” stated Dr. David Colby, Medical Officer of Health, Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit, in a media release.
“Although people may be waiting a few weeks for their appointment, high demand is a good thing because it means better protection for our community in the long term.”
As of Friday, CK Public Health officials say 45,487 total doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to date, while 43,421 people have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in Chatham-Kent.
