Police: B&E, impaired driving, domestic assault, warrant

Break and enter

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On June 4, 2021, police responded to a break and enter compliant in the area of Houston Street in Chatham.

Police located the suspects, a 36-year-old Chatham man and a 49-year-old Chatham woman in possession of stolen property.

Both parties were arrested and the female was found to be in possession of suspected Fentanyl.

The man was released with a future court date and the female was transported to CKPS headquarters and held for bail.

Impaired driving

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On June 4, 2021 police responded to a complaint of a vehicle in a ditch in the area of Mull Road, in Harwich Township.

Through investigation police learned that the lone occupant and driver, a 29-year-old Chatham man, was impaired by alcohol.

Police transported the male to CKPS headquarters where he was charged and released with a future court date.

Domestic assault

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On June 4, a female attended CKPS headquarters to report she was the victim of domestic assault.

Through investigation, police formed grounds arrest a 34-year-old man.

He was located, arrested and held for bail.

Warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On June 4, 2021, while on general patrol in the area of Westcourt Boulevard, Wallaceburg, police located a 29-year-old Walpole Island man, known to be wanted by the Chatham-Kent Police.

Police arrested the male and transported him to CKPS headquarters where he was held for bail.
