‘Fight 4 Fields’ fundraiser launched in support of the Ronald McDonald House

The Fields family in Wallaceburg is raising funds for the Ronald McDonald House in London.

“In honour of the recent passing of the 5th year anniversary of my brother Brayden’s car accident, I would like to collect donations towards the London Ronald McDonald House that my family and I were thankful enough to stay at when he was in the hospital,” Lauren Fields posted in a Facebook group created for the fundraiser.

“Many chances to win donated prizes.”

Tickets are one for $5 or five for $20.

“All proceeds go towards the London Ronald McDonald House,” Lauren Fields said.

“Anyone willing to donate prizes, please contact me as soon as possible. Tickets are available from now until August 28.”

Julie Fields, Brayden’s mother, told the Sydenham Current that they wanted to give back.

“Brayden has done well… now we just want to give back a bit,” she said.

“Ronald McDonald House was a huge help to us, as well as to many other families in the community. We are very grateful for them and all that they do.”
