Lambton OPP officials allege: On July 2, 2021 at 1:45 a.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of a single motor vehicle collision on Bentpath Line.
Officers attended the area and upon speaking with the driver, it became apparent the driver had consumed an alcoholic beverage, at which time a roadside screening device was administered.
The driver was arrested for impaired operation and provided two samples over the legal limit.
A 21-year-old Dresden woman has been charged with the following:
– Operation While Impaired- Alcohol and Blood, and
– Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus).
The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
