We were thrilled to welcome travelingmitch to the bakery for a takeout lunch after his paddle on the Sydenham River, launching from The Crappie Store. We served a Beef Tenderloin sandwich (tenderloin courtesy of J&E meats) with caramelized onions and horseradish mayo on our housemade focaccia along with our side salad of organic greens (sourced from River Bell Market Garden) with Jennen Strawberry Farm strawberries. Dessert? Our mini chocolate ganache tart topped with raspberries from Joice & Roel farms , freshmarket Dresden ontario.Rumour has it he may have also enjoyed a Supreme Sundae from The Sugared Spoon Dresden & Thamesville. Sounds like a great way to spend the day!
