Municipality of Chatham-Kent officials say the L.O. Stonehouse Memorial Walk Bridge in Wallaceburg will be closed on Wednesday, July 7, 2021.
Municipal officials say the closure is taking place between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. for inspection and cable replacement.
“Full closure, there will be no pedestrian access over the bridge,” Municipal officials say.
The posted detour is the Lord Selkirk Bridge on McNaughton Avenue and the Murray Street Bridge on Murray Street.
