Male arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning at approximately 8 a.m., a male was located on Primrose Lane in Chatham and arrested on an outstanding warrant.

A Chatham man was released on an appearance notice with a future court date.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday, just after noon a 55-year-old Chatham man was located by Police on Orchard Heights Drive.

The male was found to have an outstanding warrant.

He was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Man arrested on domestic related charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening, just shortly after 10 p.m., a 30-year old Wallaceburg man was arrested on outstanding domestic related charges.

He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

RIDE program

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, just after midnight, police conducted a RIDE program at the intersection of Park Avenue West and Lacroix Street.

A total of 160 vehicles were checked resulting in two roadside breath tests being administered.

One driver was issued a three-day license suspension.

Break and enter in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: This morning, just before 6 a.m. officers responded to a report of a break and enter in progress located at Earthworks Garden Centre.

The suspect had entered a shed located on the property and was removing items.

Upon police arrival, the suspect attempted to flee the area.

The 33-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with break and enter commit theft and possession of stolen property under $5,000.

He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was lodged and held pending a bail hearing.
