Dora Marie Flynn, a resident of Wallaceburg passed away peacefully on July 6, 2021 with family by her side at the age of 102.
Daughter of the late Jesse and Roseanna Sterling.
Dora will be reunited with her husband’s Floyd Basil Gibbons and William Patrick Flynn.
Dearest mother of Brent, the late Lorna and Brenda.
Cherished grandmother of Louanne, Tammy, the late Ricky, Michelle, Lenna, Litza, Jason, Tina, Chris and step-grandchildren Kim and Susan.
Great grandmother of Gabe, the late Lisa, Kayleigh, Desiree, Amy, Keith, A.J., Jesse, Mitchell, Alyssa, Brody, Rylee, Jadyn and step-great grandchildren John, Jazmine, Cassandra, Jason, Ryan, Nikki, Kyle, Mackenzie, Logan and Tyler.
Great-great grandmother of Ryley, Blake, Gabe Jr., Owen and Hugo.
Dora is survived by her sister’s Alma and Verna and is predeceased by her siblings Harvey, Leo, Treffley, Felix, Leila, Marie Antoinette, Vina and Mae.
Dora and her husband farmed along the river in Becher throughout her life, this homestead is where she raised and nourished her family.
She spent many hours baking and cooking for the men while they were out in the field.
She was especially known for her apple pies.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg.
Dora will be laid to rest with her husband at Riverview Cemetery.
