The Wallaceburg Branch of the Chatham-Kent Public Library will be offering a Virtual Workshop for kids on Friday, July 23 at 1 p.m.
The workshop, includes:
– Crayola Arts Academy
– Slithering Snakes
– A Virtual Workshop that focuses on wildlife conservation.
“Kids will learn about Romulus Whitaker, ‘The Snake Man of India’,” library officials say.
“He worked to protect snakes by pushing for a ban on the snakeskin trade. Kids will also have fun designing their own three-dimensional, patterned snake.”
The workshop is geared towards children 6 and up.
