Several store front windows smashed in downtown Dresden, arrest made

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning, police were called to St. George Street in Dresden in regards to a suspicious person call. Police discovered that several store front windows had been broken.

Police were able to obtain video surveillance and an image of the suspect.

Shortly after, police located the male walking just outside of Dresden.

Police checks further revealed the male was currently wanted for failing to attend court.

A 43 year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and additionally charged with seven counts of mischief under $5,000.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
