Lambton OPP officials allege: On August 8, 2021 at 6:40 p.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted regarding an unwanted person at a residence in the 8000 block of Fansher Road.

Officers attended and learned the individual had arrived in a vehicle that had been reported stolen from the London area.

The individual was taken into custody without incident and a quantity of suspected methamphetamine was located during the arrest.

A 30-year-old Dawn-Euphemia man has been charged with the following:

– Failure to comply with probation order,

– Possess schedule 1 substance-methamphetamine,

– Possession property obtained by crime over $5000.

The accused has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Stunt and impaired driving

Lambton OPP officials allege: On August 6, 2021 at 9:10 p.m., a member of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a vehicle travelling at 125 km/h in a 60 km/h zone on Oil Heritage near Progress Drive.

Upon speaking with the driver, it became apparent the driver had consumed an alcoholic beverage and was displaying signs of impairment.

The driver was arrested and transported to the Lambton OPP detachment where they provided two samples of breath above the legal limit.

A 27-year-old Sarnia man has been charged with

– Operation While Impaired,

– Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus) and,

– Stunt Driving.

The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on August 23, 2021.
