The fall swimming schedule for Gable Rees Rotary Pool and Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool will include rec, adult and lane swims, aquafit, lessons and the return of the popular parent and tot program.
The fall schedule will take effect on September 7, CKRec officials say.
Registration for all recreational swims will continue to open one week prior however, zone requirements have been removed and swimmers will now have access to change rooms 15 minutes before and after their swim.
Swim times will remain 45 minutes long to allow for appropriate cleaning.
H20 and private swimming lessons will be offered at both locations with registration opening August 25.
Parents will now only be required to be in the water for Starfish, Duck and Sea Turtle levels.
Class schedules are currently viewable online.
“We are happy to provide a full slate of programming this fall,” said Ann Robinson, Manager of Recreation Services, in a media release.
“We know how important access to our pools is to our community and we look forward to offering a safe space for recreational swimming as well as promoting water safety through our highly sought after swimming lessons.”
Pool operations will continue to abide by all provincial and local COVID-19 regulations including reduced capacity, social distancing and face covering requirements.
Swimmers are encouraged to review a full list of FAQ’s prior to their visit to the pool at chatham-kent.ca/recreation.
