Man charged with failing to comply
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On July 30, 2021 the man was released from Chatham-Kent Police with several conditions.
Two of those conditions stated that he was not to attend a specific residence.
On Friday night, the man attended that address and began to throw rocks at the window.
Officers located the man standing outside the residence and he was arrested.
The 28-year-old man, of Blenheim, has been charged with one count of failing to comply with his release conditions.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Man charged with impaired driving
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Shortly before 6: p.m. on Friday night, police responded to the area of Talbot Trail near Four Rod Road in Raleigh Township regarding a motor vehicle collision.
Officers located the motor vehicle collision and through investigation believed the man was driving while under the influence of alcohol.
The man was arrested and transported to police headquarters for breath tests.
A 24-year-old Raleigh man was charged with having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.
He was released pending a future court date of September 29, 2021.
Stolen transport truck in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime this morning around 4:30 a.m. unknown suspects stole a white 2016 Volvo VVN transport truck from a business on Richmond Street.
The vehicle has blue numbers on the front right and left side 2115.
The truck was last seen with Ontario license plates PA32432.
