With great sadness we announce the passing of Ronald ‘Steve’ Harris on September 17, 2021 in his 73rd year.
Steve will be lovingly remembered by his wife Linda (nee Sheardown) and his children Kelly Harris and Shawn (Kerry) Harris.
Cherished grandfather of Steele, Brekell and Jad-Lin Harris.
Steve is the son of the late William and Geraldine Harris and dearest brother of Christine (Doug) Spitzig, Connie (Ron) Frank, Lori (Dave) Hill and Scott (Karen) Harris and brother-in-law of Betty (Ernie) Parker, and Sam (Barbara) Sheardown.
Steve was a retired O.P.P. Detective.
He was very active in the community as Past President of Sombra Township Optimist twice and Past president of Sombra Athletic Association as well as coaching hockey and baseball teams for several years.
He played softball with the Wilkesport team in his younger years and had an amazing time when friends and he started the St Clair Old Blue Hockey team.
Steve and Linda spent many winters in Florida where he enjoyed golfing with his buddies.
