Live COVID-19 Q&A session taking place

In light of increases in local COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, and Chatham-Kent’s status as the lowest vaccinated community in the Province, the Come Together CK volunteer community group has resumed their well-attended live online Q & A sessions with local health care practitioners.

Organizers say last week, the group held their most well-attended online event yet, with close to 300 attendees attending the entire session.

“There were so many questions that for the first-time ever we extended the Q & A period with Dr. Hamm to answer as many questions as possible,” organizers say.

The next session will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 7 p.m. on the Come Together CK Facebook page.

The event will be moderated by Tina Aquash, of Walpole Island, and will include Dr. Bob Mayo, a Wallaceburg resident and long-time physician in the community.

“Dr. Bob Mayo will answer your questions about the vaccine and address any concerns you may have about the vaccine,” organizers say.

“The event will be moderated by Walpole Islander Tina Aquash. There is no cost to attend and all are welcome. Anonymous questions can be sent to ComeTogetherCK@gmail.com. This is will be a safe and non-judgemental opportunity for people to ask any questions they may have about the vaccine. The session will also be recorded and available for viewing after the broadcast.”

More of these live Q & A sessions will be held in the coming weeks.
