Jeannette Mann

Jeannette Suzanne (Houtekier) Mann, a lifelong resident of Wallaceburg, died peacefully in Wallaceburg after a short bout with cancer on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the age of 86. Jeannette is the daughter of the late Robert and Adrianna (Rosseel) Houtekier. Beloved wife of the late Donald Mann (2018). Loving mother of Chris (Brenda), Patti Pikula (Ed) and John (Sandy). Dear grandmother of Laura (Joe) Vink, Mike Mann (Bruce), Katie Pikula (Jon), Jack Pikula (Bryn), and Sam Mann and great grandmother of Bria and Alex Vink. Sister-In-Law of Robert Mann (Marilyn), Ariel Mann, and Janet Mann. Predeceased by her sister Elza Mozley, and Bill and Mary (Mann) Abraham, Alan Mann, and David and Martha Mann. Fondly remembered by several cousins, nieces and nephews. Jeannette retired after a long career with Bell Canada, the majority of time spent at the downtown Wallaceburg office with her best friend Eileen Elnicki. Jeannette had many friends with whom she travelled and shared interests through her Card Clubs, Ballroom Dancing, Hornet Oldtimers Hockey Wives, Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Moms, and Women’s Golf Leagues. She was an active volunteer in the community. Family and friends are invited for visitation at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg, from 3 – 6 PM on Tuesday, October 5. A graveside celebration of life will be held at Riverview Cemetery on Wednesday, October 6 at 11 AM.
